The PleuraFlow Catheter System

The PleuraFlow Catheter System is inserted between the chest tube and the drainage tubing. It contains a guide wire with a distal loop that rests at the end of the tube. The system uses the loop to morcellate and scoop back clot towards the drainage canister. The PleuraFlow Catheter System is driven by a proprietary magnetic drive to maintain a sterile environment within the tube.

Direct:

The PleuraFlow System can be used with standard 32F chest tubes after heart, lung and trauma surgery, or minimally invasive 20F chest tubes, allowing surgeons and nurses to be sure the tube is open and free of clogging.

Fast:

The PleuraFlow System can be put in
at the time of surgery, or added to a PleuraFlow tube after the clogging has started. It is a quick
and easy to use at the bedside, and helpful
in minimally invasive cases or even the
most difficult situations.

Cost Effective:

PleuraFlow Catheters are priced for routine use and may save money, by minimizing the time currently utilized to manage clogging
tubes and the complications that ensue
when clogging occurs.
